The announcement was made in the presence of the Board’s International President, Dr. Biren Dave.
Addressing the media, Dr. Biren Dave formally introduced the newly appointed office bearers, including Mr. Saurin Bhatt as State President (West Bengal), Mr. Anurag Mozumdar as State Secretary, Mr. Souvik Biswas as Joint Secretary, and Mr. Himadri Banerjee as City President, Kolkata. At the national level, Dr. Abhay Tiwari was appointed National Joint Secretary, Mr. Meeku Soni as National Executive Member, and Mr. Shantanu Banerjee as State Executive Member, signalling a renewed and structured leadership aimed at coordinated growth and wider social impact.
Dr. Biren Dave stated that the Vishwa Hindu Sanatan Board was established with the core objective of uniting Hindu society, awakening collective consciousness, and serving humanity through inclusive and constructive initiatives. He highlighted that the organisation actively undertakes social welfare programmes including medical and blood donation camps, yoga and wellness initiatives, cow protection drives, and cultural and religious awareness activities.
Emphasising the Board’s non-political character, Dr. Dave categorically clarified that the organisation does not align with any political party. “Our mission is not political. It is rooted in unity, awareness and service to humanity,” he said, adding that the Board consistently advocates peace, harmony and mutual respect among all communities, while standing firmly against injustice and forced religious conversions.
Highlighting its global footprint, Dr. Biren Dave noted that the Vishwa Hindu Sanatan Board operates not only in India, but also in Nepal, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa, fostering connections through shared cultural values and service-oriented work.
Underscoring the importance of youth engagement, he said the Board aims to reconnect younger generations with spiritual knowledge, cultural heritage and ethical leadership. The programme concluded with a collective call for peace, social harmony and meaningful community service, as the new leadership prepares to expand the Board’s initiatives across West Bengal.
