Sengupta. Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Shankar Chakraborty,
Indrani Dutta, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Monami Ghosh and Anindya Chatterjee, all will be
seen sharing the screen in Belashuru, once more after ‘Belaseshe’.

The film’s music has been composed by Anupam Roy and Anindya Chatterjee.Belashuru is the story of an elderly couple Biswanath Majumdar and his wife, Arati Majumdar. It revolves around the changes in relationships and bonds within a Bengali joint family.

About the trailer launch, director Shiboprosad Mukherjee said, “We are releasing a film after
two and a half years. It should have been a very happy occasion if our entire family was there
today. But losing the parents of the Belashuru family has been a huge personal blow. This is
for the last time that the audience will be able to see Soumitrada and Swatidi together on the
big screen and the only way we can pay tribute to them is by taking this film to the masses.”

The previously released songs ‘Shohage Adore’, ‘Tapa Tini’ and ‘Belashuru’ by composers
Anindya Chatterjee and Anupam Roy have been lapped up by the listeners and are now
playing on everyone’s lips, having made it to the top music charts.

The euphoria surrounding Belashuru is palpable and the wait is almost over.

The film is set to hit the screens on May 20.
