New Bengali Movie ‘Kunjam Kunjam Valobasa’ will go on the floors soon. On Thrusday at the Kolkata Press Club a press conference was held to annonce the movie.
The film stars ‘ rising and promising boy of South India’ ,Uday . He and Riya Mondol from West Bengal are in the lead roles .
It will be directed by Aninda Sagar while Sanjoy Naskar is the creative director. The story and music is by Subhas Dey . YV Lakshminarayana is the cinematographer . Debashish Sengupta has written the screenplay and dialogues . It has been produced by Patnam Vijay, Patnam Hemalatha and Ashok Mohanto. The presenters are Uday Creations and Shital Films Productions.
This is the story of a South Indian guy who falls in love with a Bengali girl and their love story develops over a period of time. ‘Kunjam Kunjam’ in Bengali means ‘ Ektu ektu’. Kunjam is a Tamil word. It is about how two youngsters from two different cultures come together in spite of all odd.
There are 4 songs in the film including a song sung by Kumar Sanu and Sayantani Ghosh(Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalist).
Kumar Sanu is expected to record the song sometime in December.
It will be shot in Bengali and there are plans to release it in 5-6 languages .
