- This year’s Durga Puja celebrations will be different from the previous years, owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

At a time when it is advisable to avoid crowded locations, Jalsha Pujo Bari will bring the festivities directly to the viewers, allowing them to cherish every Durga Puja ritual on their TV screens.
Viewers can enjoy every essential Durga Puja ritual, from Bodhon to Bisharjan, within the safety of their homes and along with their loved ones. These Pujo capsules on Star Jalsha will have every Durga Puja custom recreated along with Star Jalsha’s beloved celebrities, for a duration of five minutes each. The Jalsha artistes – ranging from Sreemoyee, Mohor, Joba, Charu, Arjyo and a galaxy of other celebrities will be seen participating in these rituals, keeping safety in mind and celebrating responsibly.
On Shashthi, the channel will telecast Bodhon at 10.25 am. On Saptami, viewers can enjoy the rituals of Kolabou Boron at 8.25 am, Pushpanjali at 10.25 am and Sandhya Arati from 6.00 pm. On Ashtami, Pushpanjali will be telecast at 10.25 am, Sandhi Puja at 11.00 am and Sandhya Arati at 6.00 pm. Navami’s Pushpanjali will be telecast at 10.25 am and viewers can catch a glimpse of the Sandhya Arati at 6.00 pm. On Dashami, Dorpone Bisharjan will be telecast at 9.00 am, followed by Sindoor Khela at 4.00 pm. Star Jalsha’s stellar cast will come together to make Jalsha Barir Pujo, an event to truly look forward to.
