Kolkata, 2nd May 2023: hoichoi launches the Trailer of its new Murder-Mystery series, ‘Homestay Murders’, directed by Sayantan Ghosal. Set in the misty mountains of North Bengal, the series stars a stellar ensemble cast consisting of Sohini Sarkar, Saurav Das, Arjun Chakrabarty, Parno Mittra, Debchandrima Singha Roy, Sabuj Bardhan, Aparajita Ghosh and Judhajit Sarkar in pivotal roles.
This spine-chilling murder story, revolving around a homestay and the death of one of them, making
everyone remaining a suspect for the homicide case. As a group of strangers is trapped together,
they start turning on each other while the killer waits to strike again, in this utter chaos. The Trailer leaves us at a major cliffhanger increasing the suspense of finding out the actual murderer while unearthing separate motives of each of the guests. Talking about the web series, Sohini Sarkar said, “It has been a wonderful and exciting journey
throughout. After doing Sampurna with Sayantan Ghosal for hoichoi which is a social drama, I am
enthralled to work with him again and this time for a murder-mystery for hoichoi! Hoping the
audience will appreciate our work once again with Homestay Murders.”
Saurav Das, while talking about his character in the show, stated, “Kinjal is a very interesting character throughout the series, a kind I haven’t explored before. The story of being trapped inside a homestay while on a vacation and becoming suspects in a murder or investigating one itself is an interesting plot to be playing on. Looking forward and hoping for a positive response once the show releases.”
Arjun Chakrabarty, while commenting on Homestay Murders added, “The entire experience has
