Indo Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival is a heritage, sentiment, bonding and relationship. This is one of the most valuable festivals in the World. We are organising the Indo Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival since 2008.
Roy’s Taekwondo Academy & GCS West Bengal India Chapter organised “2024 Indo Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival, International Award Ceremony, MoU Signing Ceremony, World Taekwondo Training Seminar”, Indian Classical Music Show and “World Taekwondo Fashion Show” as well as to exhibit our National Culture & Heritage before the Globe and BUSINESS INTERACTIVE SESSION with FOREIGN INVESTORS & LEADERS from different countries at Nazrul Tirtha, New Town, Kolkata in support of World Taekwondo Cultural Exchange Association, Taekwondo Association of West Bengal, GCS International (Special Consultative Status – UN ECOSOC) from 7th to 9th February 2024.
1st Hon’ble Chairperson of LOKPAL Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and Pioneer Taekwondo Personality & Former India Team Member Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy (Ex Sports Consultant, Indian Statistical Institute, Govt. of India & World Taekwondo Plaque of Appreciation Recipient) are our Organising Chairman and President respectively.

On behalf of Hon’ble President of World Taekwondo & GCS International Dr. Chung-won Choue, Dr. Seok Jae Kang, Secretary General, GCS International & Senior Consultant, World Taekwondo (WT) attended the event. Dr. Kang is also Vice President of Asian Journalist Association.
Our motto is to create a scope and opportunity to develop business in India and abroad through Taekwondo. We are also trying to promote culture, tourism, Motivation, Stress Management, Olympic Taekwondo and Defensive Tactics System through Taekwondo. Our motto is to Industrialize Taekwondo to bring Prosperity: Taekwondo is the second most populous sport next to soccer.
Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy is the 1st International Sports Personality in the Globe, who feels Taekwondo is more than sports. His aim is to open a business scope through Taekwondo for the Society.
You may be aware that Taekwondo is evolving not only as a popular Official Olympic Sport & Traditional Korean Martial Art, but also as a cultural industry and lifestyle sport popularized in 213 countries + 1 stands for Refugees (under United Nations).

On 8th February 2024 Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose received the most prestigious “Taekwondo Humanitarian Plaque of Honor” from Mr. Kang Dae Geun, President, THF Asia, United Nations. (1st ever in India)
Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) is recognised by the Swiss Federal Department of Home Affairs. Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) was founded by World Taekwondo President Dr. Chung-won Choue at the United Nation HQ in New York, in September 2015. United Nations helps refugees World Wide through Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation)
