Kolkata, 29th March 2022: Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s much-awaited movie ‘Belashuru’ is gearing up for its theatrical release on 20th May. This movie is the sequel of one of the biggest blockbusters of the last decade and the highest grosser of 2015’s ‘Belaseshe’. It also marks the last movie of Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta. Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Shankar Chakraborty, Indrani Dutta, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Monami Ghosh and Anindya Chatterjee, all will be seen again sharing the screen in Belashuru. The film’s music have been composed by Anupam Roy and Anindya Chattopadhyay.
Belashuru is the story of an elderly couple Biswanath Majumdar and his wife Arati Majumdar. It revolves with the changes of relationships and bonds among a Bengali joint family.
