Kingsguk Dey directed, Meenu Parekh & Nilesh Parekh presented, Blueberries Entertainment produced upcoming film ‘The Red Files’ official trailer has been launched on 14th march, 2024 at a renowned pub of south kolkata with pomp and luxury. Director Kingshuk Dey, Producer Meenu Parekh, Nilesh Parekh along with cast members like kinjal nanda, Taniqsha Roy, Abhiroop Chowdhury, Juii Sarkar, Sanjib Ghosh, Deboprasad haldar and music director Soumya Rit were present in the grand launch event.
The film is based on the 1990 Bantala Rape Case that shook the foundation of Bengal’s socio-political existence during the 90’s. But the film not only focuses on this particular case, rather is going to be a substantial protest to the barbaric act of rape altogether.
The story, dialogue, script and direction for ‘The Red Files’ is done by Kingshuk Dey. While Subhadeep Naskar is heading the cinematography department, Sanjukta Deb Roy is working as the Creative director & costume designer while Amit Naskar is editing the film.
Mumtaz sorcar, Bidipta Chakraborty, Kinjal Nanda, Taniksha Roy, Abhiroop Chowdhuri, Dipak Haldar, jueei Sarkar, Deboprasad Halder along with others have played key charcters in the film.
Nachiketa chakrabory, Papon, Lagnajita Chakraborty has voiced play backs for this film.
While speaking about the film director Kingshuk Dey said, “Our film is all set for the release on 29th March,2024, Today our official trailer have been launched. A prolonged research has been one of the integral part of the film, now it is getting the final shape not only to entertain but also to spread awareness, and to make people able to protest against the gruesome act of rape and physical assaults against women. I hope the trailer will be loved by everyone.”
