Kolkata: Yatri Sathi has expanded its shuttle coverage across South Kolkata and adjoining areas, covering Bijoygarh, Ranikuthi, Joka, Budge Budge, Jadavpur and Sonarpur. With rides priced at a flat Rs. 49 per
passenger, the expanded service brings an affordable AC travel option closer to more commuters.
The expansion makes Yatri Sathi Shuttle accessible to residents across these neighbourhoods, offering a convenient option for planned daily travel. Commuters can reserve their seats through the Yatri Sathi app and choose from the routes, boarding points and scheduled timings available for their journey.
Affordability and comfort remain central to the service. The flat Rs. 49 fare helps passengers plan their travel spending, while AC shuttles and advance booking make it easier to organise their daily commute.
The South Kolkata expansion builds on Yatri Sathi’s existing shuttle network, which has served commuters on corridors connecting Barrackpore,Serampore and Bally with New Town and Salt Lake Sector V. The wider coverage extends access to the app-based shuttle service across more residential areas.
To book a ride, passengers can open the Yatri Sathi app, select Premium Shuttle, choose their route and pickup and drop-off stops, and select a travel date and available departure time. After payment, passengers receive a digital ticket and can track their shuttle once the trip starts.
Residents of Bijoygarh, Ranikuthi, Joka, Budge Budge, Jadavpur and Sonarpur can check the Yatri Sathi app for available routes, stops and timings and book their shuttle ride at a flat Rs. 49.
