‘Dilon ki Eid’, the much talked about gala Eid celebration of Eastern India, gracefully hosted by Social Entrepreneur cum Educationist Mr. Imran Zaki and Mr.Mohammed Azhar, The Chairman cum Director of Aminia chain of restaurants, took place in the banquet hall of The Park Hotel on 13th April 2024.
Like every year we saw the people of power and importance from all walks of life in Kolkata, gathering in faith, peace and unity, on the gracious invitation of Mr. Zaki and Mr. Azhar ,to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr.
We saw actor/activist/teacher of method acting Bobby Chakraborty, who is a bosom friend of Mr. Zaki and Mr. Azhar ,present in the event, along with other celebrities like Actress Pallavi Chatterjee, Actor Saheb Bhattacharya, Cricketer Ranadeb Bose, Principal of Calcutta Public School, Kalikapur Proma Das, Director/Principal of B. D. Memorial Junior School Suman Sood, Mariam Zaki Mehta and Kushal Mehta, the daughter and son-in-law of Mr. Zaki, Dancer Sudarshan Chakravorty and The General Manager of The Lalit Great Eastern Hotel Kolkata Mr. Kamal Raza among many others, in a sea of celebrities.
The delectable spread of Mughlai food was carefully curated by Aminia chain of restaurants and The Park Hotel.
Grand events like this, which bring together people from all faith and profession , promoting brotherhood, peace and harmony, in a world filled with hatred and animosity,is the need of the hour.
