Rakshak Foundation is now playing the role of “Swasth Rakshak”.It will distribute masks, jute bags, cotton bags in Gangasagar 2021.
Chaitali Das said,” We are more responsible this year particularly to create awareness about physical distance, sanitizers our volunteers will parade althrough ensuring healthy Ganga Sagar Mela combating Covid 19”.
Samiul Alam ,SDO, Government of West Bengal Said “ We are careful and taken safety precautions as lakhs of devotees will throng the Mela on the occasions of Makar Sankranti. We have with us Chaitali Das of Rakshak Foundation & her team will be undertaking distribution of masks and jute & cotton bags for COVID safety, and spreading awareness about COVID and eco-conservation.”
