Nurse’s Training for Nursing Students of Techno India Group on high-impact Covid preparedness

FICCI and GE Healthcare organized a 2day training programme on high impact COVID-19 preparedness for nursing students of Techno India Group on December 6-7, 2021. 81 Nursing students participated in this training.  This is part of USAID-Wipro GE Healthcare project, SAMRIDH for upliftment and training of Healthcare Professionals (doctors, nurses and paramedics).

The training included topics such as Recording and monitoring COVID-19 Vaccination, Pharmacology of COVID-19 Drugs, Basic Mechanical Ventilation, Interpretation of ECG, COVID-19 Complications, Mental Health, When to shift to a hospital, Home ICU treatment pros and cons, Resources, ICMR Protocol, Vaccination types/Inoculation Storage, handling, delivery and waste management of COVID-19 Vaccine, PALS Update for Nurses.

Addressing the training session at Techno India Campus, Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group said, ”Skill training in healthcare sector is the need of the hour and Techno India is very happy to partner with FICCI and GE Healthcare to participate at this training programme which will be immensely beneficial for nursing students.”

Dr. Vikas Krishna, Strategic Initiative Leader, GE Healthcare conducted the training session. Ms. Mousumi Ghose, Assistant Secretary General, FICCI was also present at the session.
