• Merlin Maximus of Sodepur, Merlin Waterfront of Howrah , and Merlin Uttara were presented winner , 1st runner up and 2nd runner up awards respectively
Kolkata , October 15, 2022: Merlin Group, India’s leading real estate conglomerate , has presented the awards of the 4th edition of “Merlin er Sera Pujo” today at South City. The award “Merliner Sera Pujo” as christened had been instituted in 2019 by Merlin Group to encourage the residents of different housing complexes to organize and celebrate Durga Puja with pomp and enthusiasm.
At a formal function, Mr. Saket Mohta, MD, Merlin Group presented the awards to the winners in presence of Shri Sushil Mohta, Chairman, Merlin Group. Merlin Maximus , the housing complex located in Sodepur had won the first prize of “Merliner Sera Pujo Award” and a cash prize of Rs 50,000 while Merlin Maximus, a housing complex located in Sodepur , Merlin waterfront a housing complex located in Howrah had won the 1st runner up trophy , a cash prize of Rs 35,000 certificate and plaque. Merlin Uttara had won the 2nd runner up trophy, a cash prize of Rs 25,000 , plaque and certificate. Merlin also recognized other housing complexes for different categories. Merlin Crest and Merlin Bashundhara had won awards for Best decoration and best gleaming Society Award. Merlin Warden Lakview had won award for Best Creativity Award. Merlin Jabakushum had bagged award for Best Cultural Programme category. Merlin Legacy had bagged the award for Best Innovation category . Merlin 5th Avenue had won best enthusiastic Award and Merlin Sapphire had been recognized for their arrangement in “ Best Safety and Precautions” category. Merlin Groove had got the recognition for best traditional puja and Merlin Laurel Garden a perfect aura and ambiance and bagged the award for “Best Environment” category. Also Merlin Iland had got the best Organizer Award.
While presenting the laurels , Mr. Saket Mohta, Managing Director of Merlin Group said, “ We at Merlin instituted “Merliner Sera Pujo” award in the year 2019 to enthuse our valued residents across Merlin Housing complexes in West Bengal to organize Durga Puja , the biggest celebration of Bengal in its right spirit. It feels great to have experienced the enthusiasm and gusto of our valued residents in organizing Durga Puja. In last four years, the scale and pomp of the pujas have gone manifold. What is very inspiring is the bond and camaraderie among our valued residents who congregated to celebrate the Puja. I thank our esteemed Guests Shri Aninda chatterjee and Sayantani Guhathakurta for judging and gracing the occasion. We pledge to celebrate the initiative next year on a bigger scale with grandeur and years to come as well ”.
Like every year , Merlin Group organized a puja parikrama with the judges across apartments in Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly.
Actor Aninda Chatterjee and Actress Sayantani Guhathakurta had engaged with the residents of Merlin Housing apartments across Kolkata, Hooghly and Howrah on Mahasaptami and Mahashtami and Mahanavami while paying a visit to the Puja Idols.
Merlin Group had organized the Fourth edition of “Merliner Sera Pujo 2022” in 13 Merlin Housing complexes. It touched over 8000 residents and their guests this year.
