Kolkata Poush Utsav 3.0 to be held at Rabindra Tirtha Lawns from 23rd to 26th December 2021
(12p.m. to 9 p.m.) presented & hosted by LINK UP Media Ventures & Initiatives Pvt. Ltd. in
association with WBHIDCO supported by Anandadhaara (WBSRLM), WBSCL under the nodal ministry department of SHG & Self-employment, West Bengal State Export Promotion Society
under the Department of MSME & Textiles & Loksanskriti o Adivasi sanskriti Kendra, Lokagram under Department of Information & Cultural Affairs. Government of West Bengal is poised to be the vibrant winter carnival ever witnessed.
Rural women entrepreneurs affiliated to Self Help Groups & artisans representing revenue districts
of Bengal will participate putting up their products (handicrafts, garments, upholstery, jewellery,
furniture, décor, homemade food products, metal, wood, bamboo, grass/coir, clay/earth crafts for
exhibit and sale.
Every day morning all participants will participate in an intensive interactive incubation program by select faculty on marketing skills, banking, accounting, SCM, product catalogue, stress management, packaging, labelling and leadership skills.
An unique themed food pavilion serving traditional delicacies – Joynagar Moa, Paatishaapta live,
Christmas confectionaries.
The fair ensues on 23rd December morning with customary Brahma sangeet rendition and prayer at Upasanaghar New Town followed by a pravatpheri to Rabindra Tirtha. Janab Firhad Hakim has
supported by: kindly consented to grace his presence as Chief Guest at the inaugural in the evening alongwith Shri Debasish Sen & Shri Kalyan Bandopadhyay as Guests of Honour. Other invitees are Shri Aroop
Biswas, Shri Debasish Kumar & Shri Madan Mitra.
Folk artists representing Chou, Bhatiyali, Baul, Santhal, & Bahurupi will perform at the akhra
lawns and stage. Cultural programs featuring celebrities to the likes of Rupankar Bagchi, Iman
Chakraborty, Devlina Kumar amongst others.
