YSCE Kolkata Pavillion Club delivered an outstanding all-round performance to defeat International Club in the Qualifier Round of the prestigious Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Ambar Roy Under-15 Cricket Tournament under the Kolkata District category.
YSCE Kolkata Pavillion Club posted a commanding total of 248 for 8 wickets in 45 overs, showcasing exceptional batting depth and resilience. The innings was anchored by a stellar knock from Dev Sharma Mondal, who scored a magnificent 68 runs off 84 deliveries, demonstrating maturity beyond his years. He was well supported by Gunvir Singh’s aggressive 43 off 38 balls, Aarav B Shankar’s composed 35 from 37 deliveries, and Soham Saha’s crucial 32 runs off 52 balls.
In response, International Club fought valiantly but fell short, managing 216 for 9 wickets in their allotted 45 overs. YSCE’s bowling attack proved too strong, with Abhinav Singh claiming 3 wickets for 51 runs in 9 overs and Rajdeep Chakladar matching his efforts with 3 wickets for 44 runs in 9 overs.
