Dilon Ki Eid’ – The Mega Celebration of Eid – An Eid get-together for faith, peace, unity and brotherhood was hosted by social entrepreneur and educationist, Mr.Imran Zaki along with restaurateur, Mr. Mohd. Azhar (Chairman and Director of Aminia chain of restaurants) at Sangam Grand Ballroom, JW Marriott Kolkata on April 26.
We had popular actor/activist/teacher of method acting, Mr. Bobby Chakraborty with us,dressed colourfully in a red and blue pathan suit, as one of the prominent invited guests ,among hundreds of other famous faces of Kolkata from all walks of life .

Bobby says “Not attending Imran Bhai’s ‘Dilon -Ki- Eid’ makes my annual schedule incomplete. The evening started with an all faith prayer meet , followed by a terrific performance by the singer duo Sourendra Mullick- Soumyojit Das, the scintillating ‘Dhwani’ Group, a mesmerising dance performance by Sapphire Creations Dance Company of Mr. Sudarshan Chakravorty, Urdu nazm rendition by Dr. Sarfaraz Baig followed by an instrumental jugalbandi by Royal Symphony Orchestra.
Each and every guest was showered with flattering layers of hypnotic Ittar(perfume) of 25 different fragrances.
Unlimited delicacies like Tawa Kaleji, Wargi Paratha Roll, Gondhoraj Bhekti Tikka, Sikandari Raan, Kabsa Rice, Mutton Galawati, Sheermaal, Kosha Mangsho, Radhaballabhi, Pistachio Imarti and Khajoor Rabri, specially curated by Abhishek Sachdev, general manager, JW Marriott, was served.
The icing on the cake was the luscious food from Aminia with Mughlai options like Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Khada Masala, Mutton Korma, Mutton Pasinda and Aminia Special Paratha.
The event was curated by Rehan Waris of Regalis Weddingworx. The cultural programme was conducted by Mrs. Ghazala Yasmin and Mr. Shahanshah Mirza.

R. & Event Manager) , Mr John Andrew Bagul(Principal of South City International School), Mr. Ishandeb Chatterjee(son of Hon’ble Minister Mr. Sovandeb Chatterjee, who is also the Head of Marketing and Sales at Hyatt Regency Kolkata) with Bobby in an extremely merry mood.
