Tathagata Ghosh, one of the leading fashion photographers of the time & official influencer of Canon India, launched two of his own fashion calendars for new year 2023 on 27th December in a grand event at a city banquet. Renowned actress Tnusree Chakraborty is the female face of the calendar while model Neel Dey is the model face of the second calendar. Glamor & grandeur revolves around Tnusree’s calendar shoot theme while tribal life & fashion is the core of the other.
Tnusree who unveiled the calendar on the event said, “I’m thrilled to be a part of something so ambitious and experimental. Calendar to every Bengali is a source of nostalgia & what better way to celebrate a new year than this!”
Tathagata said, “The reason why everyone is so appreciative of the shoot is the groundwork, extensive research & homework we did. It’s always such a delight to work with Tnusree & the credit belongs to my whole team.”
Model Neel Dey also shared her overwhelming reaction to be a part of the shoot. She said, ” I did tons of preparation & study on tribal life to get my body language right. The shoot came out extremely satisfying.”
Anusha Viswanathan, Sayantani Guhathakurta, Paean Sarkar, Raja Chanda, Rahul Dev Bose & other eminent personalities from the film & glamor industry graced the event. Tathagata’s mother Sima Ghosh, who is the respected councillor of ward no. 102 was present to support him. Notable businessmen like Anargha Chowdhury and Amitabha Samanta were also present.
In his long & celebrated career as a fashion photographer, Tathagata has shot for several fashion magazines & celebrity profiles including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, Raima Sen, Priyanka Sarkar, Koel Mullick to Taapsee Pannu, Manisha Koirala & Huma Qureshi at national level.
