The objective of the event was to spread awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy ecosystem by addressing the growing challenges of adverse climate change.
Ms. Sharmili Shah, Principal at Acharya Tulsi Academy, Orchids The International School, Newtown, said, “ Students are the future of the world and they need to understand the importance of keeping a clean and green environment and how to protect nature. Through this initiative, we inculcated the practice of keeping our environment clean from the school itself. Such activities help children to develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment, understand the importance of conserving and nurturing it and to feel motivated to initiate small, yet definitive steps towards building a sustainable future with the individual contribution”.
