Sahay Foundation is a social service organization committed to improving the quality of life of underprivileged citizens across India. Equally dedicated to culture and entertainment, the Foundation has consistently taken initiatives to nurture and promote emerging talent for the next generation.
In this spirit, a special music video for the upcoming Sharodotsav — “Bolo Dugga Mai Ki” — was recently filmed at the historic Pathuriaghata Rajbari.
The video will be officially released by Saregama India.
Adding to the grandeur of this project are the esteemed Padma Shri awardee Sabitri Chatterjee, Debleena Kumar, Gaurav Chatterjee, Sushmita Chatterjee, John Bhattacharya, Rupsa Mukherjee, Pradip Bhattacharya, and many others.
With lyrics by Somraj Das, the music for this video has been composed by Debanjan Dey, while the soulful vocals have been rendered by Sreshta Das, celebrated for her rendition of “Dakatiya Bashi” from the film Bahurupi.
This unique venture is a collaborative production of Sahay Foundation and Jhalak Infotainment—an upcoming app for news and entertainment—marking the beginning of many such cultural endeavors.
