Anando Sangbad Live:Riddhi Bandyopadhyay Music Academy is all set to release a song of Kazi Nazrul Islam on the legendary poet-song composer’s birth anniversary recorded by her students lead by the Pancha Kobir Gaan fame singer Riddhi Bandyopadhyay herself. Eventually, noted fashion designer Agnimitra Paul’s recitation of Nazrul’s poetry along with the song would add on a different dimension to it. During this Corona pandemic situation all need some activities which would motivate, nurture mental health. Music can heal all wounds specially gives relaxation in any kind of mental disturbances.
“Timirobidari Alokhbihari” the song is from Manmath Kumar Roy’s theatre “Karagaar”. This song is apt for such troublesome time where everyone is trying to get out of this pandemic, looking for freedom from this confined life.Kazi Nazrul got arrested for the song as the British rulers thought it was against their government.
The song will be released on poet’s birth anniversary on 25 May from Riddhi Bandyopadhyay music Academy’s official YouTube channel.
