Techno India University, West Bengal organised the IEEE International Conference on Computer, Electrical and Communication Engineering (ICCECE) 2024 on 2nd and 3rd February, 2024. Prof. Omar M. Ramahi from the University of Waterloo, Canada and Prof. Daniel Dongyuel Lee from Cornell University, USA graced the occasion as Keynote Speakers and delivered insightful addresses containing unique research ideas. Along with academics from top-ranked USA and Canadian universities, Indian academics from top-ranked universities delivered Keynote Speeches like Prof. Ramakrishnan Angarai Ganesan from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Padma Shri Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay the Director of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Prof. S. Arun Kumar from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Prof. Madhu Mutyam from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The speakers addressed a packed auditorium, and presented technical talks rich in original research ideas across two full days. The audience comprised researchers, doctoral candidates and PhD aspirants.
Techno India University has always fostered the spirit of innovation amongst its students by exposing them to real-world problems, as young minds are ignited by practising implementation-based research and receiving hands-on training. Innovation must be achieved through real-world practice, and it cannot be kept as an object in a library. Techno India University solicits various implementation-based research problems from industry and global academia so that students may cut their teeth on them. True to this spirit, Tutorial Sessions were held on 1st February where industry professionals like Smt. Rakhi Mitra from Goldman Sachs, Shri. Aishwary Mishra from ISRO and Shri. Anupam Jain from Apple addressed undergraduate students and appraised them regarding the latest developments in the industry, how to secure internships, and how to conceptualise viable projects which would attract funding.
At the Chancellor’s Conclave, veteran artist Shri. Rupankar Bagchi represented the best of Indian Culture in front of national and international dignitaries.
Various international papers have been accepted for this conference from countries like the United States of America, Turkey, Morocco, Botswana and Nepal. A strict acceptance rate of 27% has been set to maintain the quality of the presented papers at the conference. All the accepted papers have been archived in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (USA). Techno India University looks forward to the Conference next year whose dates have been set as 6th, 7th and 8th February, 2025.
