Kolkata, 24th March 2024: Genius Kids Annual Concert, a cherished cultural extravaganza showcasing the incredible talents of young children, returned for its 14th edition in Kolkata on 24th March at Madhusudan Mancha, presenting the theme “Yugantar, Echoes from the Past… Vision of the Future.” The event aimed to support over 200 underprivileged orphan children between the ages of 3-7 who have lost their parents during the COVID-19 pandemic and other unforeseen adversities. Dignitaries including Mr. Biplab Roy, Administrator General & Official Trustee of West Bengal & Founder of State Judicial Museum, Tathagatha Mukherjee, Actor & Director, Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group, Mr. Manoj Khemka, Chairman, Bazar Kolkata, Suman Sood, Director BDMI and Member of Early Childhood Association, Dr. Mrinmoy Mitra, MD (Pulmonary Medicine), DNB, FNB (Critical Care Medicine), MNAMS, FAPSR, Mominoor Rahaman, DI primary education, Siksha Parishad & Mamta Das, Leading lady of Prabartak Sangha, also the one who fed Netaji for 13 days, were present at the event.
Since its inception 13 years ago, the Genius Kids Annual Concert has been a beacon of creativity and inspiration, providing a platform for children aged 3-7 to showcase their talents and celebrate the essence of childhood. The concert aimed to change the epochs of existence, reminding the audience of the coexistence of good and evil in today’s world and the importance of upholding righteousness in every individual’s life, especially empowering children to reach their full potential and contribute positively to society. An abled team was formed to work extensively for a prolonged time on the ground level to identify at least 200 kids who have suffered irreparable loss of losing their parents during COVID and to extend them support in every possible way to help them continue their education. Highlighting the importance of social responsibility and honouring those who had made significant contributions to society, the event featured the felicitation and awarding of eminent social workers, medical professionals, public servants, and philanthropists. The Genius Kids Annual Concert 2024 drew an audience of over 500 attendees, including top industrialists, educationists, administration officials, ministers, bureaucrats, celebrities, members of the business community, ensuring a rewarding experience for all participants.
