One of the fast emerging Bollywood film producers in the country and a global digital content strategist, Ayanjit Sen, has risen from a humble background and knows the digital pulse of people from all backgrounds after intensely studying and researching the same for years. “As a film producer and a digital man, I give more credence to the stories than anything else. Ultimately, the future of films in the country is going more towards the thematic credence followed by powerful acting and direction,” says Ayanjit, who runs the famous La Pelicula Motion Pictures company.”India has a lot of talent except that very few have got the opportunities they deserved. I have fought a hard battle to be where I am. It has not been a roller coaster ride. But now India is searching for true talent and the film industry will have a bright future for sure. There is no place for nepotism now,” says the award winning producer, story writer and digital journalist.During this Covid situation, where most people are indoors in the globe, Ayanjit has resorted to cloud films using the latest technology. His Bengali cloud film – Akaash Ojana Tobu (Yet Unknown Sky) directed by Abhishek Basu, is the first cloud film to be shown on an mobile app. ” Where there is a will, there is surely a way. These cloud films will live long long after the Covid is gone. It will be beneficial for those who are struggling for years. It’s surely a new Jagran,” he says.After making Bollywood films, he is also into regional and international film making. “Digital content in films and campaigns is all about strategic thinking with a futuristic outlook. It’s never for now. It’s all aways for tomorrow,” says the international world renowned digital content wizard with digital laurels from Washington and different other parts of the globe. He has also written a best seller book – India’s Neighbours – Problems and Prospects – during the Atal Behari Vajpayee era and is currently writing on global digital politics.” A degree from a renowned University is not enough. In the field, it’s a different ballgame altogether. You need to measure the pulse in the right context and geography with a good knowledge of history, social science and technology,” says the man who credits all his achievements to his mother, who fought all odds to bring him up to where he is.Ayanjit has also been hired by three foreign governments to spearhead their political digital campaign and has been named as their digital content surgeon.”For me, my country is supreme and I will always be an Indian first and will try my best to do whatever I can for my country.”
