It was a rainy, overcast morning on June 18th in Kolkata, but sunshine prevailed within the sparkling auditorium of Julien Day School, Ganganagar, where enthusiastic soldiers of Bobby Chakraborty’s army, from Class 7 gathered to take a lifelong pledge to fight against the darkness of all sorts of addiction and harmful social trends like smoking, alcoholism, smart phone addiction, abusive language, online obscenity to gain popularity, gambling through online games etc.
Bobby, who’s a renowned actor/activist/teacher of method acting, conducted the 461st session of his award winning, globally acclaimed, free of cost, preventive Anti Addiction Campaign here ,titled ‘ I am the King of my Mind’, with a lot of fanfare and positive feedback from the students and their parents.
The official photographer of this memorable adda was a dedicated soldier named Samriddha Mahapatra, assisted by soldier Arnab Bhowmick, who was also designated with the important ceremonial title of ‘The 1st Soldier’. The other important ceremonial title of ‘The Trendsetter’ went to soldier Abir Ghosh.
The winners of the concluding surprise contest were soldiers Srijita Chakroborty, Adrij Das and Aadrit Mukherjee, who were given special prizes, Health-Career-Family(HCF) t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by Bobby.
