Like every year in the past, Bobby Chakraborty will celebrate his birthday on February 13th,, through his Anti Addiction Campaign. This year it will be his 416th session at B. D. Memorial Junior School, 10am onwards. This will be his 2nd session in this school.
Bobby has been an actor since 2002,a social activist fighting hard against all sorts addiction and harmful social trends among the youth globally and is also an extremely popular teacher of method acting at SMPAi.
He has reached more than 410 schools,colleges,universities, orphanages and red light areas globally and carries out this campaign for free,without charging any money from anyone. This extremely effective and life changing social awareness program, titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’, has won him various awards and recognitions in the past.
Interestingly Shreyaan Banerjee, an enterprising,bright and socially responsible 5th grade student from this school, will make his debut as an ‘active soldier’, who will take the centre stage too, with Bobby, in a bid to inspire his fellow soldiers ,to fight the evils in the society and travel a path towards a healthy body and mind.
We appreciate the initiative from The Director/Principal of B. D. Memorial Junior School , Mrs. Suman Sood to join hands with Bobby, for raising this much needed preventive awareness among children, before it’s too late, as they reach a point of no return as adults, completely destroying their physical and mental health.
