A conversation with one of the most celebrated Bollywood singers of all time


The 11th episode of Season 8 of Turiya Talks has Mrs. Anuradha Paudwal as the guest where she talks about her life as a musician and a philanthropist. Mrs. Paudwal is a Bollywood playback singer and has won many prestigious awards in her career, including  the Padma Shri, the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award. She is also the founder of several welfare organizations that donate to medical centres and underprivileged communities across India.

She further spoke on how she feels about the current healthcare scenario in India. She elaborates on the access and affordability of healthcare for underprivileged communities in India.

As one of the most talented singers in Bollywood herself, she describes what it takes to be a good singer. She clarifies whether the ability to sing well is an inherent gift or an outcome of hard work and dedication. Furthermore, she narrates her experience of winning the Padma Shri Award and receiving it from former president, Pranab Mukherjee.
