Braithwaite & Co. Limited, Kolkata successfully organized the Second Executive Committee Meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertakings-2), Kolkata along with a training programme on “AI and IT Tools Available in Hindi” on May 21, 2026. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting the effective implementation of Rajbhasha Hindi and making official work simpler and more qualitative through modern technological tools.The programme was chaired by Shri Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production), Braithwaite & Co. Limited. On this occasion, Shri Vichitrasen Gupta, Deputy Director (Implementation), Government of India, attended as the Chief Guest. Among those present were Shri R. Veera Bahu, Director (Finance), Braithwaite & Co. Limited; Shri P. K. Mishra, Executive Director (Human Resources, Operations & Services); Shri Ajay Shankar Mishra, Member-Secretary, TOLIC (Undertakings-2), Kolkata; and Shri Ravishankar Rajhans, Traffic Manager, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, along with officers from various member offices.The training programme on “AI and IT Tools Available in Hindi” was conducted through video conferencing. Shri Rajendra Verma, Joint Director, Hindi Teaching Scheme, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Pune, participated as the expert speaker and provided detailed information regarding the utility and practical applications of various AI and IT tools available in Hindi.In his presidential address, Shri Sanjeev Rastogi stated that in the present era of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology, it is essential to technologically empower Hindi. Chief Guest Shri Vichitrasen Gupta highlighted the usefulness of modern AI and IT tools in the promotion and propagation of Rajbhasha Hindi and described them as highly beneficial for official work. At the end of the programme, Shri R. Veera Bahu, Director (Finance), Braithwaite & Co. Limited, expressed gratitude and delivered the vote of thanks to all the guests, participants, and member offices. The programme was conducted by Shri Ajay Shankar Mishra and Shri Deepak Kumar Thakur.
