P.B. Academic School celebrated its 25th Founders’ Day with great grandeur, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s journey. The Silver Jubilee celebration featured a vibrant cultural programme dedicated to legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray, reflecting Bengal’s rich artistic heritage.
A special segment of the evening was exclusively devoted to Satyajit Ray, showcasing his timeless contributions through dance, music, and dramatic performances. A major highlight was a lively stage adaptation of Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne, where students captivated the audience with expressive acting, music, and choreography. Their immersive portrayal and strong stage presence brought the characters vividly to life.
The programme stood out for the remarkable energy, dedication, and creativity displayed by the students. Backed by rigorous rehearsals, they performed with confidence, discipline, and excellent teamwork, delivering each act with passion and finesse. Their spirited participation earned widespread appreciation from all present.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities including actor Yash Dasgupta, actress Nusrat Jahan, and actress Devlina Kumar, along with Arijit Dutta, Debasish Dutta, and Deepa Mallick.
