33rd Industrial India Trade Fair to be held from 17th – 21st February ’21

Anando Sangbad Live:The Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BNCCI) has announced at a press conference the details of 33rd Industrial India Trade Fair. The President of BNCCI, Dr. Arpan Mitra along with Shri Debashis Dutta- Vice President BNCCI and Shri Ashoke Kumar Banik- Hony. Treasurer BNCCI addressed the media.

Every year the Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry organizes the Industrial India Trade Fair, one of the largest of its kind in the eastern region of India since 1987. The concept was a precursor to the economic liberalisation and globalisation implemented by the Government in a few years time in 1991. Thereby highlighting the depth of foresight and leadership demonstrated by the Chamber. The purpose was to create a platform where domestic and international businesses can interact and network by exhibiting new products, innovative services and creating new partnership and future deals to take their businesses to the next level. Along with promoting the interest of the business community, the IITF also serves to enhance sector specific knowledge and interaction, by holding business seminars, workshops addressed by ministers both from Centre and State, other esteemed speakers share their views and perspectives on various topics such as politics, technologies and more such issues that build a thriving business hub for the Members of the Chamber.

Industrial India Trade Fair is the benchmark event of Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry and will be held from 17th – 21st February ’21 at the FairGround Rajarhat Plot No. II A/13, Action Area II A Rajarhat New Town . There will be participation from both the Central and State Government as well as PSU’s and other private organizations. There will be conclaves on industry, skill and district development as well as the education sector in light of this post – covid era. Stalwarts from various sectors will contribute in these three days of the conclave. Apart from the conclave, there will be cultural evenings too. Eminent singers and folk artists from various districts will also join the fair.

“The Chamber has a long drawn glamorous history of spearheading the business community of the state in the 133 years it has been running. 33 years back at the centenary celebration of the Chamber the idea of having an industrial trade fair was conceptualised and thus was born the flagship event of BNCCI and the State’s largest International trading platform. I salute my predecessors who had ideated this venture. Bengal is in the forefront of the eastern states that are likely to be benefited from the Industrial India Trade Fair. We look forward to a happening business platform. I would also like to take the opportunity to give tribute to its Founding Members, Past Presidents, Committee Members and each and every valuable member of this age old Chamber who worked steadfastly and fuelled the development of this organization to the position it occupies at present,” – said President, BNCCI Dr. Arpan Mitra.
